I met with Mark yesterday and heard more about the Kenya Trip. Proud of our Journeyers - all you gave - and all who went and made a difference half way across the world. Good stories at church on July 13. You can see pics on Mark's blog.
It has been hot lately. I am not a big fan of the heat.
Mark told me that it was 75 with a nice breeze every day in Kenya and when they all got off the plane
Chicago and it was like 90 degrees. They were like...let's go back to Africia. Funny.
Back at with the band last night...my fingers were sore where I burnt them. Some good tunes for Sunday.
NBA last night. I was wrong about Blair. Piston could have taken him in the first and second round. Instead, they picked Daye aka the new Tyshaun Prince. I totally expect to see Prince traded in the near future. I still think he could go to the Clippers for Kaman or Camby.
The draft was interesting because it was very unpredictable. I think we will look back and see some guys that shouldn't have been past up on and over all this was a weak draft.
Good trades in NBA. Magic picked up Vince Carter. Spurs get Richard Jefferson. (both former teammates) Those moves are both better than the Shaq trade by the Cavs.
Tigers swept the Cubs series last night. I watch parts of all the games. My two favorite teams, but the Tigers have first place in my priority so I was glad to see a great series and to see them win.
Rodney makes me nervous every time he comes in to close a game.
I need to work on the playground at my house this weekend.
Date Night Tonight with Steph. Not sure yet what we are doing.
Michael Jackson died. I was watching some videos last night. He was a strange guy but that dude can sing, dance and he was a big time entertainer. I remember having Thriller on Vinyl. Watching it on Friday Night Video and doing the moonwalk on our shag carpet in the living room.
