The Journey staff and spouses spent the past two days together dreaming, praying, planning and playing. It was a great couple of days to get away and have extended times of planning. I feel like things are setting up for something big. Our staff is talented, hard working, sacrificial, fun, and under paid. They are qualified to do many things that could pay them bigger bucks but they choose to invest in God and others. Mark still fundraises for part of his salary. Salaries are frozen. Yet they work hard and give more. Our staff spouses are great too - they give, serve and let their spouses serve. So, we like to get away every summer and do something special for them. It is well deserved. It's a honor to serve on this staff.
