This week, I've been sharing some snapshots of what has been bouncing around in my mind grapes about the next phase of The Journey.
RECAP: The building - I think it was a gift from God and our best option - seriously. Our environment is great - welcoming, breaks down walls, connects with people. Our systems - help people take next steps and we have way more people over that national average in groups and volunteering.
But our building, environment, systems will all need to change in the future - all of those things are tools or methods. Our vision is for people to take first steps and next steps with Jesus. Tools and methods aren't sacred - the vision is God-given in His Word, it won't change. I want it to drive us. I want to do everything to avoid complacency and becoming comfortable. I want you to experience life at its fullest in a personal relationship with Jesus and looking beyond yourself. So are you getting F.A.T. or getting too comfortable? It's time to follow today and for the next phase of The Journey.
I've never heard that expression before, "bouncing around in my mind grapes". I've got a lot of grapes in my mind lately too.
Good thoughts!
