Paul and I were in Chicago on Tuesday Night and Wednesday for Story Conference. It was about communicating God's story creatively. It was refreshing and helpful. The conference followed a theme of creation fall and redemption in some ways but a major theme was how pain and conflict make our life stories better and more meaningful. Success isn't a great story by itself without sacrifice or pain. We see the conflict and sacrifice and redemption found all throughout God's story. I see it in my story. The easy things are the best things. A great conference and I hope I can tell God's story even better.
