LET IT BE CHRISTMAS - WEEK 3
Jesus came to BE with us so we could belong, believe, become
RECAP
The band sang Revolution right before Paul shared about becoming. John Lennon was right - politics isn't gonna answer all the problems and we do need a revolution - a real revolution came 2000 years ago when Jesus came to be with us. He came so we could belong - all of us - no matter who we are or what we've done. If we believe then we become His children - and just like our kids - our lives should start to look more like the love of our heavenly Father. Paul shared some stories of people at The Journey who are taking individual action to make a difference - to share revolutionary love. Jesus came to BE with us - to start a revolution of love. So, what are you becoming?
THOUGHTS
- I think this has been a great Christmas Series. We've been able to share the story of Christmas in a new and fun way, yet meaningful and challenging.
- We tried to mash up Hark the Herald Angels Sing with the riff from Daytripper - it worked out
- We had to have a journey moment about making space. Come at 9:30 if you can. Almost 500 again today.
- I have seen Beatles stuff all over recently - good time for this series.
- I loved hearing the stories Paul shared about people doing stuff to make a difference and I already knew them all. Love being part of The Journey,
